What is He Huan Pi?

Among the most valued of Chinese botanicals, He Huan Pi is the bark of the mimosa tree and is traditionally used for relieving anxiety, stress and depression. Usually found growing throughout temperate zones in the Western United States, He Huan Pi is native to China, Persia, Korea and Japan – the bark is known as ‘collective happiness bark’ by the Chinese and its first documented use was during the 2nd century for its mood supportive and calming properties.
